Teresa Santero

Teresa Santero has over two decades of experience in the public and private sectors. Teresa is currently the Director at CaixaBank. Prior to this, they served as the Independent Director on the Board of Directors at INSTITUTO DE CREDITO OFICIAL from December 2018 to March 2021. From November 2016 to December 2018, Teresa was the Executive Education: Macroeconomics at Máster Internacional en Empresa y Políticas Públicas [MIEPP]. Teresa organised by École des Ponts (Paris, Tech), UIMP, Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos,Canales y Puertos, Madrid, Spain. The bilingual program was taught in English.

From IE Business School, Teresa went on to work as the Secretary General for Industy at Ministerio de Industria from April 2008 to December 2011. During this time, they also served as a Board Member on Boards of Directors from July 2004 to December 2011. In July 2003, Teresa became the Secretary General Departamento of Social Affairs and Family at Gobierno de Aragón - Government of Aragon where they served until April of 2008.

Teresa Santero has a Ph.D. in Economics and Public Policy Analysis from the University of Illinois Chicago. Teresa also has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from Universidad de Zaragoza, and a Bachillerato in Sciences from Universidad Laboral de Zaragoza.
