Fen Huang

Fen Huang currently serves as Senior Director and Head of Translational Sciences at Cajal Neuroscience, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this, Fen Huang was a Director in Translational Sciences at Denali Therapeutics from November 2016 to April 2024, where responsibilities included developing preclinical and clinical biomarker strategies, leading project teams from IND enabling to early clinical development, and strategizing the development of disease biology and patient stratification biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Earlier experience includes a role as Scientist/Scientist II at Theravance Biopharma, Inc. from 2014 to 2016, focusing on high-throughput drug screening and assay development, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCSF/HHMI from 2007 to 2013, conducting studies on ion channels in various animal models and cell cultures.
