Elissa Young

Elissa Young has a diverse range of work experience in public relations and communications. Elissa is currently serving as the Senior Public Relations Manager at Cake DeFi, where they manage PR, events, and influencer engagement for Cake Group. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Manager of PR & Communications at ONE Esports, where they developed and executed global PR strategies, built media relations, and handled executive profiling.

Elissa also held the position of Regional Public Relations Lead at ShopBack, where they crafted key messages, developed PR strategies on a regional level, and increased brand awareness through initiatives across nine markets. Before that, they worked at Shopee as a Regional Public Relations professional and later as the Singapore Public Relations Lead, overseeing the PR strategy and managing influencer engagement.

Earlier in their career, Elissa gained experience at WE Communications as an Account Executive, where they worked with various clients across technology, healthcare, government, consumer, and corporate sectors. Elissa also had internships at Weber Shandwick, UNIQGIFT, and Cityneon.

Elissa's expertise lies in PR strategy development, media relations, influencer management, and corporate communications. Elissa has also successfully grown social media follower counts and managed content strategies on platforms like LinkedIn.

Elissa Young completed their education history in Singapore. Elissa attended Singapore Chinese Girls' School from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained their GCE "O" Level degree. Following that, they attended Catholic Junior College from 2008 to 2009, earning their GCE "A" Level qualification. In 2010, Elissa Young enrolled at Singapore Management University, where they graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, specializing in Marketing.
