Liangwei Teo started their work experience in 2012 as a Finance Administrator at the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). In 2014, they worked as an Account Assistant at Sigma-Aldrich for a few months. Liangwei then had a summer internship as a Supply Chain Intern at Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement in 2017, followed by a Brand Ambassador role at Uber. In 2018, they joined PwC as a Senior Associate, focusing on IT audit and Cyber security advisory. In the same year, they also had a Data Scientist Intern position at The MYSALE Group. In 2020, Liangwei became an IT Security Compliance Associate at Sea, and in 2021, they worked as an Information Security Certification and Assurance Analyst at Crypto.com. Currently, they are working at Cake DeFi in the role of Technology Risk & Internal Control.
Liangwei Teo completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Economics at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in April 2022, BTA Certified Blockchain Security Professional from the Blockchain Training Alliance in January 2022, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2022, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in March 2021.
