Timothy Gant has a diverse work experience in the audiovisual industry. Timothy started their career in 2013 at Ford Audio Video as a Project Engineer, where they worked until 2016. In 2016, they joined Netrix, LLC as an AV Design Engineer and remained with the company until 2021. Currently, Timothy is employed at Cal Coast Telecom as an AV Project Engineer, starting in 2022.
Timothy Gant pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Audio Arts and Acoustics/Sound Contracting at Columbia College Chicago from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Purdue University Northwest in 2008 and 2009, where they studied Building Construction Management.
In terms of certifications, Timothy obtained the AV Associate certification from Extron in January 2022. Timothy achieved the Zoom Rooms Administration certification from Zoom in September 2021. In August 2019, they obtained both the DM-NVX and DM-NVX-N certifications from Crestron Electronics. Furthermore, they acquired the Dante Certification Level 1 and Dante Certification Level 2 from Audinate in July 2019. In January 2017, Timothy obtained the Symetrix Composer certification from Symetrix Inc. Timothy received the Q-SYS Level 2 certification from QSC in June 2015, along with the TesiraForte Online certification from Biamp Systems. Additionally, they achieved the CTI-P101 certification from Crestron Electronics in May 2015 and the Pro Audio Technical Specialist certification from ClearOne in February 2015. In October 2014, Timothy completed the Implementation and Programming certification from SVSi and the Q-SYS Level 1 certification from QSC Audio Products LLC. Timothy also acquired the GLOBALCOM ACS certification from Innovative Electronic Designs, LLC in June 2014. More recently, they obtained the Teams Administrator Associate certification from Microsoft in January 2021. Additionally, Timothy received the Integrated Systems Certification Level 2 from Shure Incorporated in June 2020 and the Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification from AVIXA in January 2019. Lastly, they achieved the Integrated Systems Certification Level 1 from Shure Incorporated in February 2019.
