Damon Watkins

Damon Watkins has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Damon is currently the Director of Finance & Operations at Cal Poly Corporation, where they oversee administration, accounting, facility operations, and member services. Prior to this, they worked as a QuickBooks Consultant, an Accounting Manager at Sextant Wines and REC Solar, and a Sales Analyst/Sales Assistant at JHS Capital Advisors, Inc. Damon also has experience in payroll management and business development from their roles at Wells Fargo and Bank of America Mortgage, respectively. Damon's early career includes positions as a Sales Assistant at Banc of America Investment Services, Inc and as a General Manager at Cambridge House, where they demonstrated leadership skills in strategic business planning, finance, and operations.

Damon Watkins completed their Associate's degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Durban from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they attended Port Shepstone High School from 1987 to 1992, where they pursued a degree in Business and Information Technology. At Port Shepstone High School, they studied subjects such as Statistics, Finance, Marketing, Organizational behavior, and Accounting.

In addition to their formal education, Damon obtained the certification of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Windows Server 2003 (MCSE) from Microsoft in March 2003.
