Damon Fleming

Damon Fleming is currently the Dean of Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly. Prior to this, they were the Dean of Fogelman College of Business & Economics at the University of Memphis from July 2019 to August 2021. Damon has also been a Professor at San Diego State University from January 2007 to June 2019.

Damon Fleming has a PhD in Accountancy from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business. Damon also has a Master of Science in Accountancy from San Diego State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) from the same school. Damon is also certified by the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and by the CFA Institute as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Damon Fleming reports to Cynthia Jackson-Elmoore, Provost and Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs. Damon Fleming works with Amy Fleischer - Dean, College of Engineering, Andy Thulin - Dean, College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences, and Dean Wendt - Dean, College of Science and Mathematics.
