Jesse Emberton

Jesse Emberton has a diverse work experience spanning several fields. They have worked as a Design Engineer II at Cal Solar Inc. since March 2023. Prior to that, Jesse worked at Luminalt as a Solar Designer from September 2017 to March 2023. Before entering the solar industry, Jesse worked at Sungevity as a Design and Engineering Specialist from September 2013 to March 2017. At SolarCity, Jesse was a PV Designer from February 2012 to June 2013, where they gained experience in rooftop solar system design and structural analysis. Jesse also has experience in research and development, having worked as a Senior R&D Engineer and Consultant Engineer at Molecular Nanosystems from July 2011 to December 2011 and April 2011 to June 2011, respectively. They also worked as a Research Technician at Amyris Biotechnologies from September 2009 to February 2011. Furthermore, Jesse has experience in bioengineering, having worked as a Bioengineering Research Associate at BD from October 2008 to June 2009, an Automation Engineer at Medarex from July 2007 to September 2008, and a Research Technician at Stanford University, Department of Bioengineering from October 2005 to September 2007. Additionally, Jesse worked as an R&D Engineer and R&D Technician at Eksigent Technologies from December 2005 to July 2007 and January 2007 to July 2007, respectively.

Jesse Emberton began their education in 1996 at Las Positas College, where they pursued a General field of study and completed their degree in Transfer in 1999. Following this, from 1999 to 2002, they studied Biological Systems Engineering at the University of California, Davis, ultimately earning their degree in that field.
