Boris Iliayev

Boris Iliayev has extensive work experience in the field of information security, cyber defense, and IT risk management. Boris began their career as a CPA specializing in IT audit and advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) from 2005 to 2008. Boris then joined Ernst & Young as an ITRA Manager, where they focused on advisory work in IT risk and assurance. At Ernst & Young, Boris was involved in projects related to SOX and Goshen (ISOX) audit/implementation, multi-regulations compliance, and IT-related procedures for financial statement audits.

In 2012, Boris joined The Israeli Phoenix as the Head of Information Security, Cyber Defense, and IT Risk Management Department, a position they held until 2018. During this time, they played a crucial role in managing the company’s information security, cyber defense, and IT risk management operations.

In 2018, Boris joined Cal (Israel Credit Cards) as the Head of Information Security, Cyber Defense, and IT Risk Management Department, a position they currently hold. Boris'sresponsibilities at Cal involve overseeing the company's information security and cyber defense measures while managing IT risk and ensuring its effective management.

Before entering the industry, Boris gained experience as a Lecturer Assistant at ONO Academic College from 2007 to 2011 and The College of Management Academic Studies from 2007 to 2011. These roles allowed him to share their knowledge and expertise in the field of information security and IT risk management.

Boris Iliayev has a diverse education history with a focus on computer and information systems security, IT audit, and economics. Boris obtained a B.A in Economics from ONO Academic College, graduating in 2006. In 2009, they pursued a Certified Information Systems Analyst degree from the Israel Chamber of Information Systems Analysts (ICISA) and ONO Academic Center.

In 2011, Boris earned the designation of Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA and the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential from the Israeli Ministry of Justice. Boris also attended ISACA for a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) program that same year.

Boris furthered their expertise by completing a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) program at See Security (isc2 Israel) in 2015, further strengthening their skills in computer and information systems security. In 2020, they obtained the Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) certification from ISACA.
