Aaron Kneppar

Associate Director, Network Engineering & Cybersecurity at Caladrius Biosciences

Aaron Kneppar has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries, beginning in 2001. Aaron started their career at Choice One Communications, where they worked in data repair from 2001 to 2004. From 2004 to 2005, Kneppar served as a Lead Sys Admin at C3i. Aaron then worked at Peak Performance Solutions as the Manager of IT from 2005 to 2008, where they oversaw various IT projects and managed the company's infrastructure and resources. Kneppar joined Authentidate Holding Corp. in 2008 as a System Operations Engineer until 2010. Aaron then moved on to OPUS-ISM LLC, where they held the position of Manager of Information Technology from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, Kneppar became the Network Engineering and Security Manager at Jet Set Sports, where they managed global network infrastructure and implemented Microsoft Active Directory and DFS implementations. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as an IT Manager at Ashley Furniture HomeStore of Central New Jersey, overseeing technology operations for multiple store locations and implementing a new VMWare environment. In 2015, Kneppar joined Caladrius Biosciences as the Associate Director of Network Engineering & Cybersecurity. Most recently, in 2017, they became a Partner at Tech Strategy Leaders.

Aaron Kneppar holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, which they obtained from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in the same field from the same university in 2020. In 1995 and 1996, Aaron attended the University at Albany, SUNY, although their degree and field of study during that time are unknown. Additionally, Aaron has obtained several certifications, including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in February 2021, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in September 2019.
