Kathryn Shantz

Kathryn Shantz has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Kathryn currently holds the position of Executive Director of Clinical Operations at Lisata Therapeutics, Inc. starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Ascentage Pharma as a Senior Director of Clinical Operations from 2020 to 2022. From 2018 to 2019, they held the position of Director of Clinical Operations at NextCure, Inc. Before that, they had a long tenure at AstraZeneca where they held multiple roles including Operations Leader of External Scientific Research from 2013 to 2018, Sr. Study Operations Specialist from 2007 to 2013, and Study Delivery Operations Specialist from 2003 to 2007. Kathryn began their career as a Clinical Data Coordinator at Wyeth Research from 2000 to 2003.

Kathryn Shantz holds a Master of Science degree in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, which they obtained from Temple University in 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Penn State University from 1995 to 2000.
