Beth Williamson

Beth Williamson serves as the VP and Head of the Sustainable Equity Team Research and Associate Portfolio Manager at Calamos Investments since November 2021. Previously, Beth held the position of Director of ESG Research at Trillium Asset Management from January 2015 to November 2021 and began the ESG Specialist role, where responsibilities included evaluating ESG risks and opportunities across sectors. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Sustainability Analyst at Portfolio 21, contributing to the establishment of an ESG research discipline, and as a Shareholder Advocate at Green Century Funds, engaging in environmental issues through shareholder resolutions and dialogues. Additionally, Beth worked as a Research Consultant at Oxfam America, focusing on agricultural economics and co-authoring a significant report on global supply chains. Beth holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable International Development from The Heller School at Brandeis University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Vermont.
