Paris Karasso

Paris Karasso is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in business development and advisory roles. Currently serving as Managing Director at Calamos Investments since January 2014, Paris focuses on investment advisory and business development across the EMEA region. Prior experience includes a tenure as General Manager at Alpha Bank from February 2006 to October 2012, and Deputy General Manager at EFG Eurobank Asset Management from February 2002 to January 2006, where Paris oversaw institutional and private banking clients. Earlier career highlights include serving as Managing Director at prominent financial institutions on Wall Street, including Bankers Trust/Deutsche Bank and Bear Stearns, focusing on emerging market fixed income, sales, and trading. Paris holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
