Shani Ashkenazi

Shani Ashkenazi is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in environmental coverage. Currently working at Calcalist since November 2022, Shani focuses on the climate crisis and environmental issues. Previously, Shani served at Globes from May 2015 to September 2022, where roles included journalist covering environmental topics, deputy editor for "Lady Globes" magazine, and PR & communications director. In earlier positions, Shani was a project manager for the annual "Israeli Left Wing" Convention at Peace Now and served as a spokesperson and political advisor within the Knesset for various members. Shani holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
