Allan Shaw

Allan Shaw is a seasoned financial executive and board member with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as an Independent Board Member at CalciMedica since October 2021, Shaw has also acted as Consulting CFO and Special Advisor for a portfolio of biopharma companies since September 2017. Previous roles include Chief Financial Officer for Portage Biotech, Inc. and Syndax Pharmaceuticals, Inc., as well as Independent Board Member for VIVUS, Inc. and Navios Maritime Holdings, Inc. Shaw has played significant roles in strategic financial decision-making, operational management, and corporate governance across various companies, demonstrating expertise in navigating complex financial landscapes and enhancing shareholder value. Shaw holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting from Oswego State, earned between 1982 and 1986.
