Buck Bijlsma has a diverse work experience.

Buck started as Horeca-personeel at Bas-Events from August 2014 to August 2016.

Then, they worked as a Voetbaltrainer at HC & FC Victoria from August 2015 to January 2017, managing a group of young children as a football coach.

After that, they joined Perform Media as a Nieuwsredacteur from November 2015 to April 2017.

Buck then worked as a Redacteur at Blammo Media from August 2017 to February 2018.

In 2020, they served as a Producer & Host for the VSDS Podcast, discussing current socio-economic news from a student's perspective.

In the same year, they also worked as a Social Media Agent at GUC Agency from December 2020 to June 2021.

From September 2021 to December 2021, they worked in the Voorlichting Tweede Kamer fractie (VVD) at Tweede Kamer der Staten-Generaal.

Buck then joined Mediatic as a PR-consultant from January 2022 to February 2023.

Buck Bijlsma completed their bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences between 2014 and 2018. During their bachelor's program, they also pursued a minor in Digital Marketing, which is from the same institution and started in 2017. In 2018, they obtained the Cambridge English Proficiency (C2) certification from Cambridge Assessment English. Following their bachelor's degree, Buck enrolled at the University of Amsterdam for their premaster's degree in Political Science, specializing in Political Economy, from 2019 to 2020. Buck then continued their studies at the University of Amsterdam and obtained a master's degree in Political Economy between 2020 and 2021.
