Josh Gillies

Josh Gillies is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur with a diverse background in web development and software architecture. Currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at CalcTree since April 2024, Josh co-founded Totes Profesh Inc. in November 2013, where the focus is on innovative solutions. As the Founder and Curator of Web Developer 42°, Josh promotes the web development community in Tasmania. Freelancing since January 2012, Josh specializes in custom website development and consulting, primarily using Node.js. Previous experience includes notable roles at Linktree and Biteable, as well as a tenure at the Australian Antarctic Division as a Scientific Data Management Officer. Education includes certifications in Multimedia and Design from TAFE NSW and Claremont College.
