Michael Courtney is an experienced joiner and site fitter currently employed at Calder Industrial Materials since March 2021. Previously, Michael worked as an engineer at Dodd Engineering (Northwest) Ltd from February 2019 to March 2020 and gained joinery experience at AVAMCO LIMITED from August 2017 to November 2019. Earlier in the career, Michael served as a spray booth engineer at Advance Boyshop Care (November 2015 - July 2017), focusing on the erection, dismantling, and servicing of car spray booths. Michael's foundational joinery skills were developed during roles at Stackright as a joiner from February 2015 to October 2015 and at Salter Construction NW Ltd from January 2014 to January 2015, where first and second fix joinery was performed alongside collaboration with other trades. Michael holds Level 1 and 2 site joinery and carpentry NVQ qualifications obtained from West Lancashire Construction College (2013 - 2015) and achieved 9 GCSEs with grades C and above from Lathom High School (1995 - 2000).

We carry out all our state-of-the-art design, fabrication, machining and assembly work from our Chester facility.
