Matthew Lock

Matthew Lock has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership and management roles. Matthew is currently working as the Head of Frontline Services at Caledonia Housing Association Limited since November 2022. Prior to this, they were with Bield Housing & Care where they held multiple roles, including Head of Housing, Interim Director of Customer Services, and Housing Operations Manager, from 2016 to 2022. Before joining Bield, Matthew worked as a Service Manager at PKAVS in 2015 and as a Hubs Manager and Service Manager at Shelter Scotland from 2011 to 2015. Matthew also has experience as an Operations Manager at Hot Chocolate Trust from 2009 to 2011 and as a Project Manager at Oasis Mozambique from 2005 to 2009. Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a commitment to engaging with stakeholders and delivering high-quality services.

Matthew Lock has a solid educational background. Matthew started their academic journey in 1997 at the University of Reading, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Environmental Science. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2000, they went on to further their education at the University of Nottingham. There, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Law & Environmental Science, which they completed in 2001. Recent information indicates that Matthew enrolled at the University of Stirling in 2019 and completed a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Housing Studies in 2021.
