John Patrick Vavrek

John Patrick Vavrek has extensive experience in technical maintenance and operations management within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Canadian Supervisor Technical Maintenance at Calfrac Well Services since July 2018, John has previously held significant roles, including VP of Operations at WISE Intervention Services Inc., where operations, HSE, HR, and IT services were managed. John has directed maintenance and client services at GasFrac Energy Services, overseeing equipment and project management across North America. Earlier positions include Regional Electronics/Instrumentation Manager at BJ Services and Senior Electronics/Instrumentation Technician at Nowsco Well Service Ltd. John founded and managed Prairie Electronics Inc. as President/CEO. Educational qualifications include a Journeyman degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from NAIT, along with various trade certificates and diplomas in electrical and applied theory.
