Laura Barker has extensive experience in sports management and communications, currently serving as the Assistant Manager of Communications & Team Services at Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation since March 2016. In this role, Laura manages travel logistics for the Calgary Roughnecks team, arranges facilities for practice sessions, and coordinates weekly itineraries for players and staff. Previous positions include roles at the Calgary Roughnecks as Communications & Travel Coordinator and Assistant Manager of Customer Retention, and at the Calgary Flames as Account Manager. Laura's earlier career involved positions with Cricket NSW as Cricket Operations Officer and the City of Sydney as Operations Coordinator for Venue Management. Laura holds a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Management in Leisure and Event Management from the University of Technology Sydney.
