Allison Wright

Director, Park & Facility Services at The Calgary Stampede

Allison Wright has extensive work experience at The Calgary Stampede. Allison started their career in 1996 as an Agriculture Program Coordinator and then moved on to Business Development in Agriculture in 2006. In 2008, they became the Manager of Agriculture, where they managed current programming and developed new programs to deliver exceptional guest experiences. In 2012, they transitioned to Manager of Midway Programming, where they led various sales initiatives and cross-functional teams to optimize safety, revenues, and guest satisfaction. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Manager of Projects & Facilities, and in 2020, they assumed the role of Director of Park & Facility Services.

Allison Wright holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Calgary. Allison also completed the Mini-MBA Program & Leadership Development at the McGill Executive Institute. In 2019, they obtained the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from the McGill Executive Institute. Additionally, they are a Certified Attractions Leader, certified by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).
