Bill Zinsser

Senior Vice President - Production Technology at Calgon Carbon Corporation

Bill Zinsser has had a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Bill started their career as an Engineering Officer of the Watch and Nuclear Plant Engineer at Idaho National Laboratory in 1987. Bill then worked as a Nuclear Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company, Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory from 1988 to 1991. In 1991, they joined Envirotrol, Incorporated, where they held multiple roles including Regional Sales Manager, Manager of Marketing & New Business Development, and Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In 2007, Zinsser joined Calgon Carbon Corporation as the Director of Business Development and later served as Vice President of Corporate Business Development. Bill then held positions as Vice President of the Specialty Products Business Unit, Vice President of Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Innovation, R&D, and QA, and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Production Technology.

Bill Zinsser completed their Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business in 1998-1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Bill also attended the US Naval Nuclear Power School, where they studied nuclear reactor plant design and operations.
