Catherine Lessnau

Catherine Lessnau has extensive experience in human resources and labor relations. Catherine currently holds the position of Deputy Human Resources and Labor Relations Director at Calhoun County Government. Prior to this, they worked at Albion College, where they held the roles of Associate Director and Assistant Director of Human Resources. Catherine also has experience in the education sector, having worked at Harford County Public Schools as a Human Resources Specialist. Additionally, they have experience in client services from their time at Community Mental Health - Bridges Crisis Unit. Catherine's early career includes an internship at Johnson & Johnson in their Human Resources Leadership Development Program.

Catherine Lessnau pursued their undergraduate education at Michigan State University from 2004 to 2007. During this period, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Zoology & Psychology. Following their undergraduate studies, from 2007 to 2009, Catherine enrolled in the Michigan State University School of Human Resources and Labor Relations. Catherine obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations (MHRLR) during this time.
