Kristin Orlowski

SVP, People & Culture at Calibre Scientific

Kristin Orlowski is the Vice President of Organizational Development where she leads the Global Organizational Development People function for Calibre Scientific. She joined Calibre Scientific, in 2020, with a mandate to build and develop a comprehensive global organizational development function. Kristin is a senior talent officer with 20 years of experience building expansive organization-wide learning, development, and management systems to strategically transform the People function across globally recognized organizations.

Kristin built the talent function at University of Michigan Athletics to drive the mission and measurable objectives, and their organization was recognized 3 years in a row as a “Best and Brightest Place to Work” and achieved national rankings. Recruited by the CEO, she assumed a newly created role with Toys “R” Us Global Headquarters where she was responsible for talent management and learning strategies. Her achievements included designing and executing the annual Global Talent Summit event for 200 vice presidents, directors, and c-suite leadership for identifying high-potential staff and leading a massive international culture and engagement initiative gaining over 95% team member participation that led to usable and actionable feedback for improvement of the company culture.

Kristin received her Master of Science degree in Public Administration, with a concentration in Human Resources, from the University of Michigan. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University. She is an HRCI-certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and she maintains membership in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the PEER 150 HR Group, and the Key Vistage Group, in Toledo, OH.
