Kayla Cerda has a diverse work experience spanning several years. kayla started their career in the Marine Corps, where they served in various roles including Administrative Supervisor, Radio Communications Manager, Logistics/Administrative Officer, Drill Instructor, and Chief Administrator. In these positions, they demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and administrative skills.

After leaving the Marine Corps, Kayla worked as a Security Operations professional at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., where they operated and monitored security systems and maintained key control. kayla then joined Dynamo Technologies, LLC as a Senior Consultant, where they prepared and reviewed visa applications and maintained critical status updates for Marines assigned to US Embassies and Consulates.

Kayla also worked at All Native Group, The Federal Services Division of Ho-Chunk Inc. as a Management Analyst IV, where they prepared and reviewed visa applications and maintained an access database for mission critical updates. kayla then held the role of Program Analyst II at Business Integra Inc, where they compiled sensitive input and prepared weekly activity reports.

Currently, Kayla is serving as a Program Analyst III at CALIBRE Systems, Inc. In this role, they provide programmatic and analytical support for various functions including audits, congressional affairs, executive correspondence, and CIO awards and events.

Throughout their career, Kayla has consistently demonstrated their attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and ability to manage and track projects and tasks.

Kayla Cerda's education history includes attending Strayer University from 2017 to 2019. kayla pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management.

In 2012, they completed the Operational Stress Control and Readiness Team Member certification from the Department of the Navy Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR). Further certifications include the Military Academic Skills Program from the Department of the Navy Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR) in 2014. kayla completed the Records Management course through the Marine Corps University in 2016 and the Equal Opportunity Training Course from the same institution in 2017.

In recent years, they have obtained several certifications related to security and cyber awareness. In 2021, they completed the Cybersecurity Awareness and National Security Information certifications from the U.S. Department of State. In 2022, they obtained the Counterintelligence and Insider Threat Awareness certification from the same institution, as well as the DOD Annual Security Awareness certification from the United States Department of Defense.
