Ann H. Tang

Ann H. Tang, PhD, is an accomplished professional in medical writing and scientific research with extensive experience in leading roles. Currently serving as the Director of Medical Writing at Calico Life Sciences since September 2025, Ann previously held positions at Gilead Sciences, where responsibilities included Associate Director and Senior Manager of Medical Writing. Prior experience includes managerial roles at Amgen and an associate position at Ashfield, where skills in developing scientific publications and ensuring compliance were demonstrated. Ann's research background encompasses a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University, focusing on autophagy in muscle stem cells, and a graduate fellowship at The Rockefeller University, featuring significant contributions to the understanding of cellular differentiation and apoptosis.
