Jeroen Lapre

Jeroen Lapre is a seasoned professional in the visual effects industry, currently serving as Senior Technical Director at the California Academy of Sciences Visualization Studio since 2008. With extensive experience as Producer and Director for Arthur C. Clarke's Maelstrom II since 2003, Jeroen also held the position of Lead Technical Director at Industrial Light + Magic (ILM) from 1996 to 2008, where notable contributions include work on Star Wars: Episodes I, II, & III, collaborating with industry icons such as Dennis Muren and John Knoll. Jeroen's educational background includes a B.A. equivalent in Graphic Design with a focus on 3D Computer Graphics from the Sydney University Computer Graphics Lab and TAFE, completed between 1992 and 1994.
