Tom Hixson is currently a Trustee at California Baptist University. Prior to that, they were with Sandals Church for 9 years, where they served as Guest Service Lead. In that role, they managed, built, equipped and developed an engaging and welcoming volunteer team of 120 over a total of 5 services. Tom also supervised every element of the Guest Services experience from parking cars to finding seats and everything in between. Furthermore, they oversaw all new guest follow-up and new volunteers for all services.
Tom Hixson has also worked with Starbucks as an Assistant Store Manager from June 2003 to February 2013. In that role, they were responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, training new employees, and maintaining inventory levels. Additionally, they oversaw all customer service issues and resolved any complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Tom Hixson's educational career would include completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from California Baptist University.
