Ben Conway

Ben Conway is a Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice, a position held since 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Managing Attorney in the Civil Rights Practice Group, Litigation Counsel, and Senior Attorney at Disability Rights California from 2017 to 2021. Prior roles at Public Counsel from 2010 to 2017 include Supervising Staff Attorney. Ben also has experience as a Lecturer at UCLA during the 2015-2016 academic year and served as a Staff Attorney at Mental Health Advocacy Services from 2007 to 2010. Ben Conway earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Languages and Literature from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California - Gould School of Law. Educational background includes attendance at McQuaid Jesuit High School.
