Emmanuel R. Salazar

Emmanuel R. Salazar is a legal professional with extensive experience in public service and civil litigation. Currently serving as a Supervising Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice since December 2012, Emmanuel focuses on investigating and prosecuting fraud within the Medi-Cal program and protecting vulnerable citizens from abuse in healthcare settings. Prior to this role, Emmanuel gained experience in the private sector as an attorney specializing in civil litigation related to consumer protection and construction defects. Additional legal experience includes serving as a judicial law clerk for the Third District Court of Appeal and working as a law clerk at the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office. Emmanuel holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Communication from the same institution.
