Maryam Toossi Berona

Maryam Toossi Berona is an accomplished legal professional serving as a Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice since March 2017. With a prior role as a Litigation Associate at Cooley LLP, Maryam defended technology and e-commerce companies in various litigations, including class actions and privacy matters. Maryam has also contributed to legal education as a Teaching Assistant at Cornell Law School, supporting undergraduate law courses and first-year legal writing programs.
