Michael Dorsi

Michael Dorsi is a seasoned attorney currently serving as a Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice since October 2019. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate at Ad Astra Law Group, LLP from 2014 to September 2019 and as an Associate in Litigation at Thoits, Love, Hershberger & McLean from 2012 to 2014. Dorsi began a legal career as a Fellow at Phillips & Cohen LLP in 2011, and also gained experience as a Law Clerk at the California Department of Justice in 2010. Additional experience includes working as a Regulatory Analyst at the California Public Utilities Commission and as an Auditor at the California Bureau of State Audits. Dorsi holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, earned in 2011, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained in 2006.
