Alyse Briody

Alyse Briody, PG, is an experienced Engineering Geologist currently working at the California Department of Water Resources since September 2020. Prior roles include Hydrologist/Physical Scientist at Prunuske Chatham, Inc. and Environmental Scientist at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Alyse has also served as a Hydrologist with the U.S. Geological Survey and as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on groundwater dynamics in regulated rivers. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Geological Sciences with a specialization in Hydrology from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from the University of California, Berkeley. Additional experience encompasses a Physical Science Technician role with USGS and internships in hydrogeology and research at reputable institutions.
