Margaret Mohr

Margaret Mohr has extensive experience in communications and marketing. Margaret most recently worked as the Deputy Director of Communications at the California Department of Water Resources. Prior to that, they served as the Communications Director at VELOZ, where they advocated for the transition to electric cars. Margaret also held the position of Deputy General Manager of Business Development and Marketing at the California Exposition & State Fair, where they managed marketing campaigns, media relations, and sponsorship activation. Before that, Margaret worked as a Director at Cameron Park CSD, overseeing parks and recreation services. Margaret also served as the Chief Marketing Officer at e.Republic, Inc., a media and research company focused on the public sector. Margaret's earlier roles include VP/Marketing and Promotion at News10 and Marketing Director at KVUE-TV.

Margaret Mohr attended Fort Hunt High School in Alexandria, Virginia from 1974 to 1978, where they earned their High School Diploma with a focus on High School Sports. Following this, they pursued higher education at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management.
