Mario Guerrero

Mario Guerrero serves as the Director of Government Affairs at the California Faculty Association since September 2025 and is also an Adjunct Professor in the Government Department at California State University, Sacramento, since August 2016. Previously, Mario held positions such as Legislative Director of Business Operations at the University of California Office of the President and Deputy Director of Legislation at the California Department of Human Resources. Mario has significant experience in legislative action management, having worked as Chair of the Sacramento Community Police Review Commission and Legislative Director for SEIU Local 1000. Mario's earlier roles include Senior Consultant for the California State Assembly and Government Affairs Director at Equality California. Educationally, Mario obtained a Master of Public Administration from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of La Verne.
