Khrystale Abaya-Otero

Khrystale Abaya-Otero is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in educational settings and customer service. Currently serving as a Community Representative and Teacher Assistant at Purche Avenue Elementary School-LAUSD since November 2022, Khrystale supports teachers by grading assignments and assisting students. Additionally, Khrystale has been actively engaged in the food service industry, working at California Fish Grill as a Front Of The House Team Member/Cashier since May 2019 and previously at Carrows Restaurants as a Host/Cashier. Earlier roles include tutoring in Language Arts and Math at the CSI3 Tutoring Program for CUSD and serving in various customer service positions at Target, Skyzone Trampoline Park, and Marriott Hotels. Khrystale is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies at California State University-Dominguez Hills, with a prior Associate of Arts degree from El Camino College and a certificate in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Los Angeles Unified School District's ROP program.
