Christina Guimera

Christina Guimera is a seasoned professional in stakeholder engagement and policy, currently serving as a Senior Stakeholder Engagement & Policy Specialist at California ISO since April 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Policy and External Affairs Specialist at WECC from June 2022 to October 2023, and Deputy Chief of Staff and Economic Development Policy Advisor for the Office of Mayor Sam Liccardo in San José from April 2021 to June 2022. Christina also held various positions within the City of Los Angeles under Mayor Eric Garcetti, including Deputy Director and Executive Policy Assistant. Beyond local government, Christina contributed as a Contributing Writer for Desert Golf & Tennis Magazine and served as Legislative Director at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where significant advocacy work for student issues was accomplished. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Urban Planning from USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
