Kalind Carpenter

Kalind Carpenter is a robotics engineer currently working at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, contributing to sample recovery missions from Mars. Additionally, Kalind serves as a guest lecturer at Caltech, emphasizing knowledge transfer to the next generation. With a rich background in engineering, Kalind has held positions including ISRU & Space Resources Handling Systems Lead at Blue Origin and has extensive experience in technology development for both terrestrial and future space applications. Kalind has also been actively involved in the gymnastics community, serving on the Board of Directors for Southern California United Gymnastics, focusing on reviving men's collegiate gymnastics and fundraising for scholarships. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Engineering from Arizona State University.
