Alex Broadwell

Alex Broadwell is a skilled professional with extensive experience in film services and audiovisual operations. Currently serving as the Digital Video Manager for Library Film Services at the California Institute of the Arts, Broadwell manages archival film preservation and oversees licensing for screenings. As A/V Lead at the Hammer Museum, responsibilities include technical direction for shows and presentations. In addition, Broadwell contributes articles and interviews to Mubi Notebook and has previously worked as a Narrative Shorts Programmer for Slamdance and as a Screener for INDIE MEMPHIS. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Film/Video from the California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Motion Pictures from the University of Miami.
