Michelle Morales is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in advocacy and support for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and trafficking. Currently serving as the Capacity Building Coordinator at the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence since October 2021, Michelle previously worked at the University of California, Davis as a Victim Advocacy Specialist, where support was provided to students, faculty, and staff. Earlier roles include Response Services Manager and Response Services Lead at WEAVE, Inc., where program management and emotional support for victims were key responsibilities. Michelle also has experience as a Case Supervisor at CASA Sacramento, Senior Assault Prevention/Intervention Specialist at YWCA Silicon Valley, and Intervention Specialist at Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc. The educational background includes studies at Sacramento City College.

The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (the Partnership) is California’s recognized domestic violence coalition, representing over 1,000 advocates, organizations and allied individuals across the state. Working at the local, state and national levels for nearly 40 years, the Partnership has a long track record of successfully passing over 200 pieces of legislation on behalf of domestic violence victims and their children. The Partnership believes that by sharing expertise, advocates and legislators can end domestic violence.
