Matt Mastro

Matt Mastro is an experienced Operations Engineering Manager at California Resources Corporation (CRC), overseeing capital workovers and maintenance for over 60 assets and more than 7,000 wells since December 2014. Mastro previously managed the Artificial Lift and Reliability Team, implementing new technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce failures. Mastro’s extensive background includes roles such as Artificial Lift Lead, Reservoir Engineer, and Well Operations Supervisor, focusing on optimizing production and system reliability across various fields. Prior experience includes positions at Oxy and Abraxas Energy Consulting, where Mastro honed skills in production optimization and energy analysis. Mastro holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
