Zack Sharpley

Zack Sharpley has a comprehensive background in engineering within the oil and gas industry, currently serving as an Operations Engineer at California Resources Corporation since February 2022. Previously, Zack held the position of Artificial Lift Technologies Engineer at NOV, where responsibilities included downhole design and implementation for high failure rod pump wells. Before that, Zack was an Operations Engineer at California Resources Corporation, focusing on completions and workovers in the Elk Hills ESOZ and Antelope Shale plays. Zack also gained experience as a Reservoir Engineering Intern with the South Valley team at California Resources Corporation, concentrating on enhanced oil recovery opportunities in the North Tejon oil field. Zack earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with an Emphasis in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California, where participation as a NCAA Baseball Student Athlete was also part of the collegiate experience.
