Dana Scott

Dana Scott currently serves as Associate General Counsel for the California School Boards Association and holds the position of Adjunct Professor at the University of California, Davis - School of Law, focusing on analytical and persuasive writing. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Attorney at Liebert Cassidy Whitmore and Parker & Covert LLP, where responsibilities involved providing legal assistance to school districts on various matters including elections and school board governance. Dana's background includes clerkships at the California Department of Justice and the City of Sacramento, alongside a legal internship with the Freedom Writers Foundation. Dana obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of California, Davis - School of Law and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Psychology from the same institution. Additionally, Dana co-directed Camp Kesem National's UC Davis chapter, managing significant programs for children affected by cancer.
