Ophelia Szigeti

Ophelia Szigeti is a legislative analyst currently working with the California Special Districts Association since April 2023, following a role as a legislative assistant for the County Behavioral Health Directors Association from September 2021 to April 2023. Previously, Ophelia served as a committee secretary for the California State Assembly from April 2019 to September 2021, and as an assistant clerk responsible for processing legislative documents. Ophelia began a career in content strategy with Sehat Cruises from July 2016 to April 2019, developing skills in communication, content writing, and project management. Additionally, Ophelia gained valuable experience as an intern in Assemblymember Stone's office in 2018. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from California State University-Sacramento and earlier studies in Communications at Monterey Peninsula College.
