Basil Alwattar M.D.

Basil Alwattar MD is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon, currently serving as an Attending Surgeon at both California Sports and Orthopaedic Institute, Inc. and Oakland Bone and Joint Specialists since 2017 and 2010, respectively. Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery since July 2012, Basil Alwattar completed a fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital and underwent residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. Academic credentials include an MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan.
