Sylvia Lee Mann

Sylvia Lee Mann is an experienced musician and educator, currently serving as Pastor at Bethel Congregational Church and Minister of Music at Bethel UCC since 2011. Mann has held the position of Music Director and Conductor for the Southland Symphony Orchestra since 2011, and serves as faculty in the Music Department at California State University, Dominguez Hills, where responsibilities include teaching strings, theory, piano, and conducting. With a career spanning over four decades, Mann has conducted symphonic and choral music across Southern California, performs regularly as a violist, and has experience with various orchestras and musical organizations. Mann holds a PhD in Music from the University of London and multiple degrees from the University of Southern California and Chapman University.
