Jane Conoley

Jane Conoley is an experienced academic leader currently serving as President of California State University, Long Beach since July 2014. Prior to this role, Jane held the position of Dean and Professor at UC Santa Barbara from January 2006 to July 2014, and served as Interim Chancellor at the University of California, Riverside from November 2012 to August 2013. Jane's earlier career includes serving as Dean and Professor of Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University from August 1996 to December 2005, and as Professor and Department Chair at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln from 1984 to 1996. Jane earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in School Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The College of New Rochelle.
