Monica Reade-san Jose

Monica Reade-San Jose, LMFT, serves as a Mental Health Provider for Student Athletes at California State University, Long Beach since August 2023, providing individual counseling, crisis intervention, and case management. With extensive experience in private practice as a psychotherapist since October 2018, Monica previously worked at Orange Coast Psychological Associates, Maximus Inc as a California PASRR Evaluator, and various roles within the Orange County Healthcare Agency, where responsibilities included stabilizing severely mentally ill adults and managing case loads. Prior experience includes serving as a Mental Health Therapist for the AB109 Program, managing campus and community services at Straight Talk Inc., and conducting psychiatric assessments at Tri-City Medical Center. Monica obtained a Master's degree in Psychology from Chapman University and California State University, Fullerton.
