Nina King

Nina King is an experienced therapist currently working at California State University, Long Beach since 2021, and serves as Therapist & Co-Director at The Immigration Evaluation Training Center since March 2017. Previous roles include therapist positions at Special Service for Groups from 2017 to 2020, and King Counseling Services from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, Nina held multiple Medical Social Worker positions in 2016 at Kaiser Permanente, USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, and Providence St. Joseph Hospital. Early career experiences include serving as a Consular Agent at the Consulate of France in Atlanta from 2002 to 2006, and intern roles at Foyer notre dame and the Council of Europe. Nina holds an MSW in Clinical Social Work from Smith College and a BA in Political Science & French from Spelman College, alongside international experiences in Strasbourg and other educational institutions.
